ToggleRelationship Status between Charity & Dotun
Charity Lawson’s love story concluded on Season 20 of “The Bachelorette” — and it ended the right way, according to many fans. Moreover, Charity ultimately picked
Dotun Olubeko in the finale. During the “After the Final Love Rose” special, Charity and Dotun gave an update about their relationship … and they’re happily
together, out in public for the first time.
“We’ve anticipated this moment. Just to be free and in public, to live lives normally. This is everything,” Charity said.
It wasn’t a seamless journey. First, she eliminated Aaron Bryant, then felt conflicted when her family seemed to prefer Joey Graziadi over Dotun. However, once at the
proposal, Charity said her doubts were gone. “You made me feel alive. You made me believe in love again. You made me feel so valued and so seen,” she said. “I see you
as my husband. I see you as my future. I see it so clear and I don’t have any doubts. I love you so much.”

Marriage Plans of Charity
When it comes to wedding plans, Charity noted, “It will be sooner rather than later. We don’t have a set date or anything. Furthermore, we’re just enjoying the season of life. “If Charity and Dotun make it down the aisle, they will be the first Bachelorette couple to say “I do” in several seasons. Meanwhile, Season 12 Bachelorette JoJo
Fletcher and season 13 Bachelorette Rachel Lindsay are the last leads to marry their winners, having tied the knot with Jordan Rodgers and Bryan Abasolo, respectively.
Extra Facts about Dotun and Charity
Is anyone else, albeit secretly, already completely obsessed with Dotun Olubeko from The Bachelorette? Over the course of the past few weeks, Charity Lawson has, on the whole, had a pretty decent group of contestants, but Dotun made an impression on night one when he hopped out of the limo and candidly told Charity, ‘I was super nervous and uncertain this was something I could do, and all that kinda changed once I laid my eyes on you.’ Honestly, the delivery was just extremely lovely, okay!!!!
Conversely, while Dotun didn’t get a ton of time with Charity right off the bat (even though she called him a ‘charmer’), we have a feeling he’ll be sticking around for at least a little while. So it’s time to get to know Dotun better…that is, by diving into a ton of spoilers on exactly how far he makes it. But first, let’s consider some important facts!”
Latest News & Updates
Charity Lawson and her fiancé Dotun Olubeko are “super happy to get our lives started” after getting engaged on Monday’s ‘Bachelorette’ finale. Furthermore, their
excitement was evident as they celebrated this momentous occasion. Although the journey on the show was challenging, their love prevailed, and now they look forward to
beginning a new chapter together. In addition, their engagement is a testament to the power of reality TV in bringing people together. Despite the pressures of the
spotlight, Charity and Dotun are ready to embark on this journey as an engaged couple.
Future Plans of Charity & Dotun
While they haven’t settled on a wedding date, Charity wants to have a year-and-a-half engagement. Additionally, she thinks she and Dotun will tie the knot in 2025 or 2026.
“We’re not really trying to have a super incredibly 17-year length engagement,” the child and family therapist explains. “We obviously came here to find love, and we have successfully done that. So we’re super happy to get our lives started.”
The couple will likely have two weddings. On one hand, there will be a traditional Nigerian affair to honor Dotun’s heritage. On the other hand, there will be a standard American one.
“I definitely am open to having two weddings,” Charity says. “We’ll see what that looks like. But me and Dotun talk a lot about the Nigerian wedding. Furthermore, we wonder if ABC will film that one, so we’ll see!”
